Wealth Management - Vice President - Advisor Services

As a Vice President of Trading Services in the Advisor Services team, you are responsible for the overall execution of the team's process, including the design and adherence to the control framework. As a functional owner and people manager, you are an expert in the front-to-back value chain, providing guidance and escalation support to your team. You will ensure that all changes in the process are operationally sound, follow the correct governance structure, and are rolled out with utmost care and supervision. Your primary responsibility is to develop talent, grow their knowledge of the process, and drive the transformation of the process to ensure integrity and audit-readiness. As a role model of the firm's values, you set the pace and tone for the team's engagement and success. You have a seat at the global table, where you are expected to lead strategically and deliver lasting improvements across the ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities:
    • Set the pace and tone for team engagement, acting as a role model of the firm's values, and lead strategically to deliver lasting improvements.
    • Act as the functional owner of processes, ensuring execution, design, and adherence to control frameworks and SOPs.
    • Lead and manage a team, providing guidance in case analysis and fostering a collaborative environment through regular meetings.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with SOPs and operational soundness of changes.
    • Develop and mentor team members, identifying training needs and conducting performance evaluations.
    • Identify and escalate business risk incidents, collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks and maintain accurate records.
    • Drive process transformation initiatives to enhance scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness, implementing best practices.
    • Prioritize customer-mindedness, ensuring professional interactions and striving to exceed expectations in service delivery.
    • Work closely with team members and departments for seamless operations, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates on case status and collaborate with business partners for alignment and problem-solving.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
    • Over 10 years of experience in trading services, investment banking, or a related role.
    • Proven experience in leading and managing a team at a senior level.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
    • Knowledge of trading platforms and financial markets.
    • Strategic thinking, planning, and process improvement capabilities.
    • Adaptability, continuous learning, and a customer-focused mindset.
