Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Investments, Advice and Solutions for Southeast Asia. This dual-role position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in investment management and solutions development, capable of driving growth and innovation across the Southeast Asia region.
Job Summary
As the Head of Investments, Advice and Solutions for Southeast Asia, you will work closely with the senior leadership team in the APAC and SEA regions to develop market growth strategies and implement solutions and investment strategies. You will also lead and monitor the team's performance against financial and other business targets whilst also managing your own client book.
Job Responsibilities:
Head of Investments & Advice, Southeast Asia:
Oversee the investment management activities in Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with the firm's global investment strategy. Partner with respective Market Manager(s) to develop marketing strategy in relation to investment for onshore and offshore markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and support the largest and/or most complex accounts Conduct independent discussions with client representatives on selected problems and issues as part of operational dialogue with clients. Broad responsibility for investment risk management Personally manage a portfolio of UHNW clients while leading a team of investment professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to sub Team Leaders and the integrated team of Investors to foster a high-performance culture.Head of Solutions, Southeast Asia:
As part of the Solutions leadership team, collaborate with the Head of Solutions APAC to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance our solutions offerings in Southeast Asia, as part of the regional effort. Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative financial solutions tailored to the needs of our clients. Drive business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Ensure alignment of solutions with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills;
• University Degree with a minimum of 20 years of experience in solutions and investment management at a reputable private bank.
• Excellent understanding of investment products, with experience in dealing with clients in the Southeast Asia and Australia markets
• Strong leadership experience in team management
• Capacity to work simultaneously on a variety of issues and tasks independently, adjusting to priorities and achieving results with agreed objectives and deadlines
• Outstanding inter-personal skills with proven ability to work cooperatively within a multi-disciplinary country teams and with other groups throughout the Bank
• Seasoned negotiator and demonstrated experience working as part of senior management
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills and demonstrates ability to present complex concepts and messages in structured and simple terms
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills;
Appropriate local regulatory licenses in Singapore
