Virtual Financial Advisor - Milwaukee

      

The Virtual Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional financial guidance and support. Utilizing Thrivent's robust advice framework, the primary objective as a Virtual Advisor is to re-engage existing Thrivent clients, deliver tailored recommendations, and helping clients take action to enhance their financial well-being.

This role proactively connects with Thrivent clients by making outbound calls to schedule and hold appointments with clients via phone, shared screens, and video. Additionally, a portion of client interactions and meetings will come from referrals.

Through pre-planned, well-structured appointments, the Virtual Advisor will delve into clients’ personal situations, previous Thrivent experiences, financial goals, and current financial standing – all with the goal of empowering clients to take action to improve their financial well-being.

Virtual Advisors hired in locations that are deemed as “Growth Markets,” will have the opportunity to primarily work remotely; however, it will be expected to collaborate with both leaders and/or peers weekly at an onsite location.

         

          

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leverage your sales ability to build enduring relationships with clients by making personal connections and building trust. 

Skillfully engage in advice-led conversations, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored financial recommendations. 

Analyze clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizon, utilizing independent thought to address complex situations. 

Provide clients with suitable insurance and investment product recommendations aligned with their objectives, guiding them to take action. 

Handle inbound telephone and email inquiries, addressing client needs and issues ranging from simple to complex cases. Identify sales opportunities and seamlessly transition conversations from service-oriented to sales-oriented. 

Resolve client inquiries and concerns by providing comprehensive information and explanations in a timely manner. 

Accurately document all client interactions into Salesforce. 

Comply with federal and state regulations, ensuring the protection of client and company interests through confidentiality. Act as a steward of client assets, striving for exceptional service to achieve client satisfaction and engagement. 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:   

 Required: 

College degree or the equivalent work experience.   

Knowledge and broad perspective of financial products and the financial services industry. (i.e. Life, Health, Annuities, and other investment products etc.) 

Ability to provide in-depth financial analysis and planning.   

Ability to effectively communicate and influence members to take action on recommended solutions that will satisfy their financial needs. 

Excellent interpersonal skills in order to quickly build rapport, effectively communicate and influence members to take action. 

Must already possess your Series 6 and 63 licenses to be considered for this role. 

Successfully complete FINRA Series 7 and 66 and Life and Health Insurance exams within 90 days of hire/transfer. 

Must be eligible to be securities and insurance licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. 

Virtual Advisors hired in designated 'Growth Markets' will primarily work remotely but are expected to collaborate with leaders and peers in person at an onsite location on a weekly basis.

The applicable hourly wage range for this role is $24.03-$26.44 per hour, with additionally monthly sales bonuses based on sales results and your client impact. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
