As a Vice President -Fraud Risk Product Manager within Connected Commerce, you will shape the technology solutions that drive strategic initiatives across the firm. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will interact with colleagues in various lines of businesses to learn about challenges and opportunities. You get to translate these requirements into high-quality technical solutions. In addition to working with the development team to create new solutions, you will help optimize existing technology and identify new capabilities.
Job responsibilities
Understand business needs, including how data is used and managedWork collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goalsPrepare ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ workflows, identify high level gaps & differences and create technical storiesServe as the primary liaison between the Business, Architecture, Development and Testing teamsDefine/write API specifications with external/internal systems (Define Request/Response data structures Json, yml, Avro and xml)Create Technical Process Flows: Data Flow Diagrams, swim-lane diagrams and Sequence diagramsPossess knowledge of tools like Confluence, JIRA, VisioWork closely with the System User Acceptance Test team to ensure all identified scenarios are properly testedRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
BS/BA degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 8 + years of experienceStrong understanding of the web services and rest APIsExperience in Service Oriented Design and Technology (Rest APIs, Micro Services, Kafka, web services, MQ messaging)Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skillsExcellent data querying and analysis skills using SQLAbility to liaison between lines of business and development teams, translating strategic goals into technology solutions, and vice versaExcellent organizational and time management skillsPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planningPrior experience in financial / banking institutions with fraud risk knowledge is a plus, especially with digital or payments-related products
