EY GDS has a pleasure to announce the opportunity to join a new role as Travel Specialist working for our internal customers. The goal of the Travel Specialist is to support our internal clients on Travel Policy & new implemented technologies
Your key responsibilities
Your tasks as Travel support will consist in assisting internal customers on Travel process by:
• Qualify the nature of the request and propose in-policy solutions tailored to individual travel requirements
• Book complex travel itineraries, ensuring compliance with company policies and client preferences.
• Supporting customers in using implemented travel tools effectively
• Maintain daily communication with clients to clarify travel or event requests, gather missing information, and escalate sensitive situations as necessary.
• Being involved on building and growing the travel process as per new rules, tool automation proposals, policy changes, in cooperation with the counsellor.
• Conduct monthly training sessions for new joiners to ensure they are well-versed in travel policies and tools. Respond to inquiries related to the Travel Policy, providing clear and accurate information.
• Manage escalations related to travel issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Connect travelers with relevant services, including refunds, visa assistance, and AMEX Card support.
• Actively participate in the development and growth of travel processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and attributes for success
• Experience as a travel, administration or customer service agent,
• Excellent communication and soft skills (both oral and written), to effectively articulate policy guidelines and the rational behind request rejections, fostering understanding and compliance.
• Reactivity to manage urgent and/or complex requests in a calm and professional manner,
• Ability to easily adapt to changing business requirements
• Proactive attitude in terms of sharing ideas for further process improvement,
• Strong focus on details and the policy objectives.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
• You are fluent in English language (C1 level), French or German are also an asset
• Excellent Customer service approach
• Experience using MS Office package
• Proficiency in utilizing relevant software and tools to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
Ideally, you'll also have
• Excellent knowledge of corporate travel environment
