The transportation network behind Amazon’s operations spreads over hundreds of countries, reaching millions of customers. It’s our Amazon Transportation Services team that ensures products are efficiently transported where they need to be before their final delivery. As a Transportation Specialist, you’ll be working closely with teams across Amazon and external logistics partners to ensure enough delivery vans are available, processing new cases and acting quickly on escalations where necessary.
This position involves working in a rotating three-shift system, which may include Saturdays, night shifts and on-call duty.

A day in the life
The main task of the Remote Gatehouse Specialists is to perform gate transactions (check-in and check-out), managing high volumes of calls. Check-in and check-out transactions consist of confirming all the necessary information to allow the driver to enter or leave the Amazon site. The Remote Gatehouse Specialist also facilitates the flow of information between different stakeholders (Drivers/Relay Operations Center/Warehouses) and resolves any potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity.
About the team
Remote Gatehouse Team is a part of ROC (Relay Operations Center). ROC is the central control center for Transportation Execution across the Amazon's European Transportation network, supporting both domestic and inter-country transportation movements for European geographies.
Basic Qualifications
- Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)

- A degree
