As a Technology Support I team member in Commercial and Investment Bank’s Markets Tech Group, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Be part of the team responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
Solve problems, manage application and infrastructure support for FX and Commodities business. Debug production issues by digging into the application code (mostly Python), writing support helpers and ad-hoc scripts, reduce manual toil by automating the daily functions.Collaborate with the developers, business users and global production management teams.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science or information systemsMinimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.Minimum 1 years of experience doing production support in finance domain.Technically hands-on working with Linux, basic Python scripting and relational database systems. Very good communication skills and a self-starter, be able to work independently.Quick thinker, good problem solver and a fast learner.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Programming in Python or any high level language would be a great plus.Ability to automate and build tools for improved productivity would be a plus.Project management and/or business analysis skills would be a great plus.
