Job summary:
As a Technical Project Manager at JPMorganChase within the Corporate and Investment Bank, specifically in the Securities Services Business, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing technology connectivity and Instruction Capture testing projects across various product domains.
Your role will involve leading these projects from initiation to execution, which includes defining project requirements, setting priorities and deadlines, ensuring compliance with relevant risk and architecture requirements, and managing project resources. Your effectiveness in this role will be measured by your ability to collaborate with your team and communicate with stakeholders across the firm and external clients.
Although the role is primarily focused on project management, it also offers a great opportunity to hone your leadership skills and build enduring relationships throughout JPMorgan Chase.
Job responsibilities:
Oversee and directly manage the technology connectivity (sFTP, MQ) for new and existing external clients. This would involve raising connectivity requests for and dealing with external fee paying clientsEstablish project requirements, priorities and deadlines, ensuring that relevant risk and architecture requirements are in placeConduct UAT, Agree test scope with the client, set up static data, coordinate instruction transmissions with the client, STP the instructions to operations and obtain sign off from Operations. This will be testing across the SWIFT network and flat files across sFTPLiaise and coordination between external clients, internal CS and Operations as well as team colleagues
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
With minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.Experience in handling a team.Test Management and UAT TestCompetence around connectivity (sFTP, MQ etc)Client facing skillset – Good written and oral English language skillsTest Management (Writing and agreeing test scopes)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Proficient understanding of the Securities Services LOB (Custody, Fund Accounting, IMOS)Knowledge of SWIFTKnowledge of Connectivity
