Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Principal Engineer/Technical Lead & Architect to join our team and lead the development and advancement of ABB Ability™ Genix, with a specific focus on deployment automation, packaging, and Core Technical Capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work directly with a talented team of engineers, driving technology excellence, Agile Delivery Excellence, and fostering People Excellence.The work model for the role is : #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore Southfield, IndiaYour responsibilities:•\tProvide technical leadership, set coding standards, and architectural guidelines.•\tArchitect and Design (HLD & LLD) complex software systems involving AI/ML use cases, MLOps around C#, .NET / Python, and Angular.•\tCreate the WBS for the feature that needs to be incorporated.•\tEnsure that the team follows cybersecurity best practices and provide continuous guidance to improve the coding practices•\tEnsure the team follows best practices in coding, testing, and debugging.•\tConduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.•\tImplement and enforce automated testing and continuous integration practices.•\tIdentify and address performance bottlenecks in software systems.•\tCreate and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design documents.•\tCollaborate with team to plan for product roadmap, demonstrate MVPs and work with product management team on planning and prioritization of features

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.\tOverall 10+ Yrs in a technical leadership, working with software engineering teams & & 5+ years of expertise knowledge of LLMOps principles, NLP frameworks and architecture of systems\tDeep understanding of different model types, management and monitoring of large number of AIML models on a production environment\tExperience in model monitoring concepts for different types of language models\tExperience with Azure cloud computing services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Cosmos, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Cognitive Datalake, Azure SQL Server\tStrong knowledge of data structures and algorithms\tExperience with designing & developing scalable, microservices-based systems with asynchronous programming and design patterns\tExpertise in working in CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment processes.\tAbility to design and implement complex, scalable, and secure web & Rest API ap-plications\tUnderstanding of Industrial IoT protocols and standards, such as MQTT, OPC UA.\tExperience in mentoring team members and helping them grow professionally. Excellent documentation skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts
