About the Role:

We are currently seeking talented candidates to fill the position of Sr. Java Tech Lead in the Reuters Technology organization working in our Bangalore office. As a Sr. Java Lead, you will have team to deliver end-to-end technical solutions for a single or multiple products or complex projects.Lead routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.Solve complex problems with minimal guidance and supportDesire to learn new technologies.Proven strong analytical design and trouble-shooting skills.Highly accountable for meeting all commitments and deadlines.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal for technical and non-technical audiences.Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively.Drive for continuous process improvement.Support and monitor the developers to learn and achieve their goals


About you:

Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experienceMinimum 10+ years of professional experience in Java based application/product designing, developing, deploying, and support.Minimum 2+ years of AWS cloud based application application development, deploymentMinimum 4+ years of relational and NoSQL databasesMinimum of 4+ years of experience in XML and JSONMinimum 3 years of experience in GraphQL API development hosted in a containerized environment such as ECS, EKS.Minimum of 1+ year of experience in Elastic search development and supportStrong debugging skills, with tools such as Kibana, Data Dog and other AWS tools Skills in front-end UI development in Angular would be an advantage.
