• Lead and mentor a team of Tax Technology Coordinators, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations
• Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members based on project needs and individual strengths
• Oversee the development of detailed tax technology requirement documents, functional specifications, and system design documents
• Conduct and guide thorough tax process analysis, identifying areas for improvement
• Facilitate and participate in requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, translating tax needs into technical requirements • Perform and oversee data analysis using tax data in different formats and from various platforms
• Validate results through quality assurance testing and coordinate user-acceptance testing
• Provide Change Management and training support for end users and maintain relevant tax technology documentation
• Lead tax technology integration projects with varying degrees of complexity and business criticality, partnering closely with various business units
• Perform risk management to minimize potential tax compliance risks, reporting and escalating issues to management as needed • Identify and implement opportunities for tax process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains
• Create and review E2E tax workflow process diagrams, wireframes, mapping documents, functional specifications, ERDs, and logical data models
• Manage vendor relationships and facilitate communication between various cross-functional teams
• Track tax technology project performance and ensure successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change based on project timelines and changes in tax regulations
