Purpose of Role: Under the direction of the TA Manager, you will play and integral part in bringing talent into the business. The Sourcing Specialist will proactively build pipelines for all roles within the LATAM region. You will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to identify a diverse group of qualified candidates for open and planned roles.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to deeply understand requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization.Sourcing & Screening: Utilize proactive, creative and cost-effective recruitment methods to attract and source a diverse pool of candidates, including leveraging online recruiting resources, social media, Workday, local and community organizations, college partnerships and driving teammate referrals. Screen resumes to determine applicable fit for current or future opportunities.Candidate Pools: Utilize Workday to proactively build talent pools for high frequency and high valued skills. Brand Ambassador: Be committed to delivering an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and follow up. Be a committed and visible advocate for our Inclusion, Diversity and Equity initiatives. Act as a Weir Ambassador in the internal and external markets, engaging important networks, associations and sourcing channels.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Proven candidate sourcing experience in various functions and business lines, from blue collar, skilled trades and professional & leadership searches.Strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of mining sector roles.Multiple country sourcing experience required; ideally Chile, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia.Expert in utilizing external sources such as search engines, job boards, social media tools (e.g., LinkedIn) to identify candidates; LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency.Expert in writing appealing candidate centric messaging.Proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).Workday experience preferred.Bilingual in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
