Job Description

This is a permanent fulltime position, working a 37.5 hour week, Monday – Friday 07:00 – 15:00.

Ensuring priority tasks are carried out efficiently and effectivelyThe labelling of sample bottles, contact and settle platesPreparation of AcidPrinting of DPD labelsPrinting and checking of manifests (before dispatch)Unpack orange boxes and receive samples onto AIS LIMSEnsuring ice packs are readily available for Orange Box’sMixing, packing and dispatch of test soilsPrinting of test soil paperworkEnsure relevant spreadsheets are kept up to dateTracking of Orange Boxes in and out of StoresPacking Orange Box’s (after initial check against manifest)The maintenance of a clean and tidy workplace:Test Soli RoomPacking/ Dispatch BenchesRemoval of cardboard/ rubbish from stores areaSweeping & MoppingBooking in received stock itemsStock Takes/ Rotation of stockMaking up of PPE KitsOrange Box suitability checksCleaning/ wiping down of Orange Boxes

QualificationsPrevious experience working within a stores/ dispatch related roleProblem solving and troubleshooting skillsConfident working with a variety IT Systems for example Microsoft Office
