Job Description Summary

The Sr. Associate, Business Management conducts unprecedented or complex analyses and reporting in support of general business operations, special projects/initiatives and/or strategic/operational planning activities. The incumbent consults with management and business partners on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support functions, and business performance improvement opportunities. S/he is often assigned as a project lead on business unit initiatives of strategic importance.

Job Description

The Operations Strategy team is seeking a candidate with strong communication skills to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and presentation material. Supports both operational and strategic leaders, with a primary focus on technical writing, creating high-impact PowerPoint presentations, and visual storytelling materials for executive leadership and operations teams.  Additionally, develops strategic plans to enhancement organizational weaknesses and business opportunities.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

Executive Presentations: Designing visually appealing PowerPoint slides that enhance understanding and retention of information by researching and integrating relevant data and visuals to support key messages, ensuring consistency in branding, style, and forma across presentation.  

Operations Strategy Development: Support strategic and operational planning and development activities designed to promote operational efficiency. 

Develop and Implement Documentation Strategy: Evaluate current documentation needs, develop a comprehensive strategy for technical content creation, maintenance, and delivery. Identify areas for improvement, streamline processes, and ensure documentation aligns with business goals and user needs.

Write and Maintain Documentation: Develop clear, concise, and well-structured technical content including but not limited to model documentation.

Document Processes and Workflows: Capture internal processes and workflows and translates business requirements into functional specifications.

Ensure Consistency and Quality: Ensure consistency in the documentations style, format, and tone, in line with the company's guidelines.

Strong Understanding of Communication Principles: Adept at storytelling, understanding audience needs, and presenting information in a logical flow to convey complex information in an accessible and impactful way. 

Flexibility: Comfortable with change and highly adaptable to shifting priorities, evolving requirements, and changes in business direction. Able to effectively incorporate feedback into work product.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Work Experience:

5-15 years of relevant business, strategy, project, technical writing, or communication/presentation experience.

Skills and Abilities:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Exceptional PowerPoint skills and the ability to craft executive-level presentations and dashboards.

Strong understanding of communication principles and data visualization techniques.

Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with executive leadership.

A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to work in a strategic, operational, and analytical capacity.

High learning agility and adaptability in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Proven ability to navigate complex governance requirements and matrixed organizations.

Strong documentation and technical writing skills with familiarity in model risk governance frameworks (e.g., SR 11-7).

Deep understanding of banking operations, compliance functions, and statistical model concepts (no coding required).

Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department.

Ability to determine and report priorities/metrics to senior management.

Ability to manage multiple small to medium sized projects simultaneously.

Ability to research, analyze, document, and present information in a clear and compelling way.

Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$93,750.00 USD

Maximum:

$160,000.00 USD
