Sr. Product Manager - Tech, WW Sustainability
Description Join us to work on environmental and social advancements to support Amazon's long term worldwide sustainability strategy. The Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) organization capitalizes on Amazon’s scale and speed to build a more resilient and sustainable company. We manage our social and environmental impacts globally, and drive solutions that enable our customers, businesses, and the world to become more sustainable. The Sustainability Measurement & Abatement Technology team builds technical solutions to track, record, and forecast Amazon's WW impact on the Environment (e.g., Carbon, Water, Waste, etc.). This includes calculating past and current impacts and future abatement plans, ensuring credibility through standards and validations, and highlighting non-obvious opportunities for Amazon’s global business teams. We are looking for for an experienced product leader to help us build software products at the intersection of science and engineering to help the company make data-driven decisions about sustainability impact areas, such as Carbon, Water, and Waste. You will help define the problem(s) our customers are trying to solve, desired customer experience, vision, and product and technical strategy with limited guidance. You will own the roadmap and feature prioritization in your area to enable science and engineering teams build the right solutions to our customers in the right priority order. You will define the success criteria for your products, and will track them over time to continuously improve the products. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools - Proven track record of building data-driven products in partnership with science and engineering Preferred Qualifications - - Experience in developing AI-powered products and applications - - Experience in sustainability domains, such as carbon, waste, water, biodiversity, etc. Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
