The Surface Transportation organization is expanding and introducing new capabilities to our Fleet Management business that supports all Middle Mile assets (tractors, trailers, box trucks, hostlers). In this role you will deliver world class solutions while wearing many hats and working in a highly collaborative environment that is more startup than big company. This role will require strong leadership skills, ability to identify trends with limited data and interaction/influence with teams across Amazon to drive the development of our maintenance business. This Sr Manager, Program Management will be responsible for building comprehensive operational processes and SOPs, defining success metrics, and developing both short-term and long-term operational strategies to support Amazon's Middle Mile Maintenance Business. You will own end-to-end process mapping, establish mechanisms to proactively identify and prioritize areas of opportunity and risk, and drive technology priorities to support our internal operations team. To be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable interfacing with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization and earning trust across various internal Amazon teams (e.g., operations, technology, finance, vendor management, etc.) to achieve your goals. You should also have familiarity with process optimization, including direct experience with launching new processes, managing pilots, and implementing operational improvements. The role involves day-to-day interaction with senior Amazon leaders as internal customers, understanding their needs and converting them into efficient operational frameworks. The candidate will have a proven track record of end-to-end process ownership and success delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
