What you'll do...

We are seeking a detail-oriented Specialist to join our Wage Garnishment team within Payroll Services. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local agencies in withholding required funds from associates' wages. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance ManagementManage compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to wage garnishmentsAnalyze and interpret reports to ensure accurate processing of garnishment ordersImplement and monitor human resource compliance processesProcess exception reports to ensure compliance is maintainedDevelop action plans to improve performance and ensure confidentiality of informationBusiness Analysis & SupportSupport the Wage Garnishment team in developing strategies, practices, systems, and activitiesConduct analyses of initiatives to understand and communicate existing trendsAnalyze and interpret data related to wage garnishmentsTranslate data analysis into recommendations aligned with business objectivesCustomer Service ManagementHandle escalated service issues, including calls with attorneys and plaintiffsManage incoming and outgoing correspondence with various internal and external customersResearch complex questions and issues to resolve problemsCommunicate systems problems and resolution proposals to senior leadershipServe as a liaison between departments, third-party administrators, and various customers to resolve highly complex issuesSystems & Technology ManagementManage equipment, software, and network requests for the teamSubmit requests for technical equipment, hardware, workstations, and software as neededCreate user accounts and implement changes in the systemsWork with vendors on upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance of systemsCreate documentation and training materials for department useSecurity ManagementManage security access for associates and vendorsEnter information into appropriate software applications following security protocolsBack up hard drives to maintain confidential informationMonitor annual service and respond to questions regarding security accessQualifications

EducationBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Finance, or related fieldExperience1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)1-3 years of customer service experience1-3 years of benefits administration experienceRequired SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent time-management and multitasking abilitiesSuperior organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive informationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skill

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00-$35.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
