As a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within CIB Research Technology you are a key part of the global team who owns the engineering behind the CIB’s award-winning Research organisation.  You are a technical contributor in the team, building solutions that transform and evolve our platform to enable our analysts to produce engaging and high-quality financial research.  Our team owns the flagship JPMM Research Platform along with the Content Creation Platform used for producing Research.  We work across a variety of stacks and technologies with a broad remit and great deal of autonomy.  This role will specifically focus on a key workstream to expand our platform across the Markets organisation.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Demonstrate ownership of delivery end-to-end from ideation to productionDeep expertise in one or more programming languages and ideally some system design/architectureStrong problem solving ability with an ability to pick up new technologies and domains quicklyUnderstanding of software delivery and working in an Agile environmentProven experience in breaking down product requirements to actionable engineering deliveriesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers at all levels of an organisation
