We are currently seeking a highly motivated software engineer who combines solid technical credentials for the position of Lead Software Engineer within our Platform Engineering team.  In this role, you will collaborate with technology peers and business partners to build and deploy the foundation for the next generation of modern cloud native and SaaS software applications and services for Thomson Reuters.

Development of high-quality code/script on the below bullet pointsWorking with Python programming language and XSLT transformationAWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, S3, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Glue etc. Hands-on on custom Template creation, local stack deploymentsKnown to GitHub Copilot functionalities to be used on job for quicker turnaroundGood to have working knowledge on Groovy, JavaScript and/or Angular 6+Work with XML contentWrite Lambdas for AWS Step functionsAdhere to best practices for development in Python, Groovy, JavaScript, and AngularCome up with Functional Unit Test cases for the requirements in Python, Groovy, JavaScript, and AngularWork on Core Java (Java 8), J2EE, App Server (WebSphere/Tomcat), Oracle/SQL, Unix (Linux)Actively participate in Code review of own and the peersWork with different AWS capabilitiesUnderstand Integration points of upstream and downstream processesLearn new frameworks that are needed for implementationMaintain and update the Agile/Scrum dashboard for accurate tracking of own tasksProactively pick up tasks and work toward the completion of them with aggressive timelinesUnderstand the existing functionality of the systems and suggest how we can improve

About you:
