Which is used to power every single critical use case of Uber. Storage org’s mission is to deliver standardized, integrated, and fully managed storage solutions for applications with efficiency, reliability and performance.Provides following features for every single database platform : 01. Completely automated lifecycle management such as provisioning/decommission/ etc of any databases cluster 02. Automated patching/upgrade 03. Security and compliance 04. 99.99% of availability 05. High scalability 06. Reliable to hardware , software failures 07. Backup/restore 08. Snapshoting/CDC/events 09. Multiple failure domains - node , cluster , instance , zone and region 10. Cost management 11. Database migration services 12. Customisable performance **What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points** \-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ---- As a Software Engineer, you will build some of the most complex technical initiatives end-to-end to help Uber run across multiple public clouds and private data centers in most effective and seamless manner. \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- 1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields 2. Good any of the languages : Go, Java or C++ 3. Problem-solving and knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis. 4. Passionate on the workings of compute, SWN , storage , cloud or workflow management platforms. 5. Knowledge or Experience with inner workings of Linux, containers (Docker, contrainerd),cluster management technologies (e.g. Mesos, Kubernetes), or virtual machine \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1.
