As our new **Service Technician** , you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs to valves, actuators, and other flow control equipment, as well as understand, diagnose faults, and compose digital condition reports based on findings, within a workshop team environment.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will:**
+ Assist Service Technicians and Lead Technicians diagnose faults and repair pneumatic and ELV electro pneumatic valve control systems
+ Test SRV Manual and Control/ Automated valves and pump equipment within the workshop
+ Carry out small design and fabrication work
+ Maintain a proven understanding of maintenance procedures and repairing of mechanical and automated valving
+ Proficiently carry out workshop practices, demonstrating a safe and methodical work attitude with quality outcomes
+ Follow all reasonable directions from senior technicians in aiding in repair of various valve types, PRV PSV or control valves
+ Prepare and clean components accurately and efficiently as directed by applying safe workshop practices
+ Accurately prepare and tag nameplate labeling and fit to assorted valves
+ Manage and complete daily planned activities, to meet Emerson and customer requirements
+ Meet goals set by the supervisor to achieve customer requirements
+ Make recommendations for driving cost reduction initiatives and technology improvements
+ Regularly review processes and make suggestions for improvements
+ Observe and abide by relevant policies, procedures, and strategies
+ Develop and maintain working relationships with all employees and ensure regular communication
+ Report times and work as per the Emerson quality systems and workplace process
+ Perform any other duties as vital in line with skills and capabilities as requested
+ Maintain physically fitness for manual processing of various equipment
+ Communicate clearly issues and problems found with individual jobs
+ Willingness to work reasonable overtime to ensure delivery targets are met
+ Efficiently work with team to implement OEM service strategies, focusing on quality, delivery, and customer happiness.

+ Knowledge of safety and environmentally conscious workplaces
+ Forklift HRW ticket
+ HRW Dog-man ticket
+ Trade Certificate
+ First Aid Certificate
