This position reports to

Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

1. Installations, commissioning, of new and existing analytical/Instrument field service equipment. Conduct tests or experiments requiring selection and adaptation or modification of equipment and procedures. Record, compile and analysis of data and assist in related assessment and preparation of reports. 2. Manages the commissioning activities to ensure quality, timely delivery within targeted costs.3. Troubleshoot and repair instrument and analyzer equipment, applying own knowledge and experience.4. Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed. 5. Assists sales team by providing sales leads for contracts, spares, upgrades and training in the manner that helps the customer and build a trust in ABB service.6. Provide recommendations to the customer on system availability, enhancements and system health checks.7. Takes lead in implementing Service Growth Initiatives.8. Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.

Qualifications for the role

Diploma, or Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentationwith 5+ Years experience Candidate should have minimum 5+ years hands on Instruments Analyzers/ experience.Working experience in KSA Job summary includes the following:-* Instrument Site Service Specialist, for ABB Instruments products commissioning, troubleshooting, Site survey at site. Service Engineer Utilization 80% at customer sites visits and traveling inside the Saudi and Bahrain. Candidate should have minimum 5 years hands on ABB Instruments experience such as flow meter (Water master, Process Master, Aqua Master) , pressure transmitter, Temp. Transmitter and Level Transmitters. Should clearly indicate in resume relevant experience of having done Commissioning, Troubleshooting / Repairing / Calibration and Validation of instrument associated with PLC, safety logic and network communication. Candidate should setup analyzer communication loops related to Modbus / OPC / Modbus over TCP/IP, integrate 3rd party systems into ABB analyzer/Instrument network, and should be able to troubleshooting analyzer communications issues. Preferred Candidate having environmental and liquid analyzer knowledge as it will be part of his instrument work. Candidate should be able to understand common sample system issues, troubleshoot and suggest / recommend improvements to sample handling system in consultation with system integration engineer. Complete timesheets, site visit reports and all other documentation in line with ABB policies. Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits.Fluent in English and in Arabic.
