Your role and responsibilitiesReporting to the Service Sales manager, develops, implements, and manages the account strategy for local / strategic account(s) focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Also, coordinates the sales activities and manages resolution of specific customer problems. You will join a passioned team with energy, customer focus driven and with a high-speed environment of operations. The account manager will be responsible for the Quebec and Maritime territory.• \tUnderstands the key drivers of the relevant customer’s business and their business environment and accordingly interprets the impact and opportunity for ABB for drives and motors services. • \tDefines and proposes sales targets for the account and ensures those are achieved with a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries. • \tSells products/solutions/services to customers with the focus on volume, mix, and profitability targets representing the whole ABB group. • \tCreates added value for both the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, AVL related actions.• \tDrives the application of standardized Marketing and Sales (M&S) processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, AVLs etc.) for the account. • \tLeads the development and implementation of the account plan and SoW growth actions. • \tMonitors competitors’ activity with the account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
Qualifications for the role5 years of experience in service drives and motors sales in Quebec and Maritime market or relevant experience.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or equivalent in other relevant fieldStrong Health and Safety culture.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships with a mindset of collaboration.Good knowledge of the service and aftermarket industry.Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.Knowledge and experience of Salesforce or other CRM platforms.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
