The Lead Software Engineer will lead software development, showcasing an ability to learn and apply new technologies. This role requires expertise in modern software engineering practices, focusing on designing, developing, and implementing innovative and reusable solutions. The ideal candidate will improve system design for better resiliency and contribute to architecture/design decisions. Familiarity with data domains and related tools is a plus.
The engineering work is primarily done using cloud-based services like Azure, AWS, and GCP, and it is therefore essential that for our engineers to be successful, they should have had experience working on cloud-based services.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Experience in Cloud technologies, preferrable Azure Database Knowledge - Understand SQL and NoSQL databases Solid in either Java or Python programming Good understanding of Containerization and Kubernetes Aware of modern engineering practices like CICD, dev testing and experience in using tools like Junit & Mockito Familiarity with systems like GitHub, writing and maintaining good quality code Proven excellent problem-solving skills Proven solid communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts
