We are looking for a senior Middleware Support Engineer, with strong Linux and Windows administration skills.  Responsibilities will be focused on, but not limited to the support of Chubb’s Middleware platforms (WebSphere, Tomcat, BizTalk, Apache, IIS). You will provide first level\second level support for operational issues, perform deployments of existing engineering patterns, engage application teams for requirements gathering, and perform operational processes to validate and ensure the health and capacity of Chubb’s Middleware platform.  The Middleware Support Engineer will also collaborate with Engineering in the development of engineering patterns, deployment specifications, and enablement of patterns through the DevOps automation pipeline. You will be responsible for identifying, building and implementing solutions to increase stability, reduce toil and improve overall customer experience.  

 

 

Job Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Snowflake. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data availability, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement ETL processes using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to integrate data from various sources into Snowflake. Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake to support analytical workloads and reporting needs. Write complex SQL queries for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis within Snowflake. Monitor and optimize the performance of ETL processes and Snowflake queries to ensure efficient data processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. Implement data governance practices, including data quality checks, data lineage, and compliance measures. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering, IICS, and Snowflake.

 

Qualifications:

5-8 years of versatile experience in building data pipelinesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on IICS and Snowflake.Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modelling concepts.Familiarity with data warehousing principles and best practices.Having hands-on experience with Azure Databricks is an added advantage.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
