As a Senior Product Associate in Account Opening and Activation team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilitiesPartners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.Manages key relationships by working with engineering, architecture, and a diverse set of product teams across the enterprise to understand their needs, further integration with the recommendation engine, and drive results.Communicates effectively and often by being vocal, sharing strategy, roadmap, progress, and insights broadly and systematically, and crafting the narrative and cadence for different partner and stakeholder audiences.Acts as a center for knowledge, possessing deep curiosity about the digital product experience space and a desire to connect that curiosity and knowledge to the teams that can affect change.Serves as a Technical & Customer Problem Solver by asking questions, defining the problem and where our platform sits in the Chase ecosystem, and understanding the technologies and approaches in use and those we should be using to drive our plans for the future for these technical products.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaValues proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.Requires experience in product life cycle activities, including discovery and requirements definition.Encourages developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.Looks for a customer-obsessed individual with the ability to build and maintain good, productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and an ability to translate customer needs into clear product delivery or technical requirements.Appreciates demonstrated ability to build a robust partnership with the Quad (Product, Experience, Tech / Architecture / Data & Analytics) to achieve superior results.Seeks a good team player and leader who inspires action and performance of their team and builds credibility across the enterprise.Values demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment, along with good partnership, consulting, and influence skills.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsDemonstrates prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.Exhibits passion and vocal presence, balanced with a willingness to learn, collaborate, and work across all levels and backgrounds.Thinks in a structured manner, communicates effectively, and is concise and impactful with excellent written and oral communication skills.Shows curiosity about overall product and offerings and contributes to solutions.Possesses technical expertise to collaborate with engineering teams.Prefers experience in driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
