Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence


Your main objective is to partner and build relationships with the client and play a lead role in client service delivery.  You will play a leadership role and be responsible for mentoring and developing the team.

Scope of services:

Assisting /Supporting the APSBCL/ Excise teams in doing the following jobs:

Meeting with the concerned Government officials to understand the vision and objectives of the Policy and Review of the existing Excise Policy, wherever applicable.
Benchmarking the existing Excise policy against the latest policies noti?ed by the various States in India and develop notes for desired policy interventions, indicating the outcome of an option.
Review of the existing methodology for the grant of various licenses and benchmarking the same against the good practices prevalent in various States in India.
Review of the ease of doing liquor business in Andhra Pradesh and suggestions for the changes in the processes required, if any.
Policy benchmarking and consultation with various stakeholders for input.
Meetings with industry players for feedback.
Review and discussion with the stakeholders with respect to improvements in Policy prepared by the client.
All reports, documents, and policies prepared or submitted by the service provider, in accordance with the deliverables and scope of work, shall be subject to approval by APSBCL or AP Excise Department.
Formulate the KPIs in line with the New Excise Policy.
Preparation of necessary templates for sharing data insights to the concerned department Authority on need basis.
Conduct periodical analysis of the data and compare with the projected revenue growth.
Provide note on the feedback received from the major/key liquor manufacturing companies on the New Excise Policy
Suggest any changes/modi?cations in the New Excise Policy based on the feedback received from Industry.
Prepare Presentations   and participate   in the review   meetings with Authority during the implementation support period.
Provide inputs on any changes required on existing portal of the APSBCL/Excise & Prohibition Department for implementation of Excise policy.
Submission of Monthly Progress Report(s).
Review existing revenue structures, tax policies, and excise rates.
Analyse historical revenue data to identify patterns and trends.
Coordinate with key stakeholders in the Excise Department and APSBCL to ensure alignment.

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

·        Post graduate degree  (India or abroad) from a reputed institute

Experience

·       10 - 12 years of work experience in State Excise

·
