Your role and responsibilities

In this role, as a Senior Global Directory Services Specialist, you will be responsible for management of global ABB Active Directory and related services. Reporting to the Global Directory Services Manager, you will be accountable and play crucial role for all the areas associated with Global Directory Services.The work model for the role is: #LI-RemoteThis role is contributing to the IT Area in Mexico as country. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tManaging and maintaining Domain Controllers together with rest of Directory Services related servers including hardening, patching, backup, recovery, upgrades and day to day operations.•\tManaging and maintaining Directory Services like Active Directory, synchronization (MIM, AADConnect), authentication (ADFS, PTA), backup (Quest), DNS (MS, Infoblox, Akamai) and DHCP (MS).•\tImproving Directory Services with strong focus on automation, monitoring, optimization and consolidation.•\tResponding to incidents and driving the resolution, request fulfillment and implementing changes.•\tWriting technical documentation, work instructions and operational procedures.•\tManaging core Directory Services and working with other suppliers responsible for UAM part of Directory Service together with other parts of ABB IS landscape.

Qualifications for the role

\tAbove 5 years of experience and extensive knowledge of Windows Servers/Active Directory/DNS in enterprise environments.\tExtensive hands-on experience of implementing and administering Windows Servers, GPOs, user accounts, groups, sites, audit logs, hardening\tExperience with sync engines like MIM and Azure AD Connect\tExperience with Microsoft authentication services like ADFS, PTA, PHS \tExperience with Microsoft DHCP and DNS\tGood knowledge of scripting (mainly Powershell)\tExperience with Entra ID\tExperience with Quest Active Roles is a plus\tExperience with Infoblox is a plus\tExperience with ITSM tools (Service-Now) is a plus\tExperience in using SIEM systems (Splunk) is a plus.\tFluent spoken and written English, good communication skills.\tExperience to translate business requirements into technical\tStrong focus on security hardening, compliance, automation and processes\tKnowledge on ITIL process and IT service management is a plus.
