Teva Canada is seeking a dynamic leader to drive its mission of becoming a Sustainable Generic Powerhouse. As a Senior Director, Generic Portfolio & Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to achieve revenue, sales, and profit targets. You will oversee brand operations, including launch planning, brand management, and lifecycle management for both generic (Gx) and over-the-counter (OTC) products. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams locally and globally, playing a key role as a member of the Teva Canada Leadership Team (CLT).
How you’ll spend your day Develop a high-performing marketing team by overseeing direct reports, reviewing, monitoring, and coaching performance Ensure leadership and ownership of the marketing budget Provide forecasts (LRP), modeling, and business cases for supply chain and financial planning Establish marketing strategies and governance within the commercial plan; set targets and deliverables where appropriate Direct marketing functions to execute campaigns and promotional activities aimed at achieving short- and long-term commercial objectives, focusing on increasing profitability and market share Understand the pharmacy customer landscape and strategize product/market opportunities across customer segments (corporate, retail) Lead the development of programs and activities tailored to the professional development of pharmacists and their staff Oversee the Product Lifecycle Management process and provide recommendations on molecule, strength, and SKU levels Liaise with regional and global teams to advocate for Canadian interests within the global Gx portfolio strategy Lead and evolve digital marketing activities and execution Monitor and enhance portfolio performance using IQVIA and other data sources Partner and collaborate with sales management to identify opportunities to enhance sales force productivity Your experience and qualifications Undergraduate business degree or, an MBA 10+ years’ experience and expertise within the generic pharmaceutical industry in one or more related field(s) of accountability (Product/Portfolio Management, Marketing, BD, R&D; data/financial analysis etc.) 5+ years of proven leadership skills including influencing, coaching & development of employees Proficient in building and leading teams through collaboration, honesty and to work effectively through complexities and organization transformation Demonstrated capability to handle competing priorities effectively through excellent planning & organizational skills Strong ability to flawlessly execute plans including product launches Strong financial acumen Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret and present to executives.
