Uber
**About The Role**
Our Grocery & Retail business at Uber is a high-growth, fast-moving startup with the backing of Uber’s global reach and innovation. Imagine owning everything that isn’t restaurant food—groceries, essentials, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, and beyond. If you’re passionate about redefining how people shop and consume, we want you to be a part of this exciting journey.
This role will be responsible for shaping the consumer lifecycle with a focus on acquisition and re-engagement across categories within our retail portfolio. The business is still at an early stage, with an ambitious growth target. This role will play a key part in our growth journey, building and scaling initiatives that are crucial to the success of the business.
**What You’ll Do**
- Design and build lifecycle campaigns and promotions to drive targeted consumer growth at scale while optimising consumer incentives (e.g. promotions)
- Use data and insights to inform our consumer adoption strategy, diving deep into topics such as consumer segmentation and cross-category shopping
- Collaborate with Membership and Restaurants teams to offer consistent value to Uber One members
- Manage relationships with Product teams to inform them of local needs and launch product features that improve the Grocery and Retail consumer experience
- Work with both local and global CRM teams to deploy campaigns and deliver ongoing improvements to campaign planning and execution processes
- Partner with Marketing teams to support above-the-line activities and grow strategic brand partnerships
**What You'll Need**
- Proven track record: You’ll have 6+ years of relevant experience in a fast paced environment, ideally with start-up, consulting, CRM, or growth-hacking experience.
- Solid analytical skills and data acumen: You can develop meaningful insights from complex data, and use the insights to drive consumer growth decisions. SQL knowledge is required. Being hands on with the tools will be crucial to your success in this role.
- Hustler and problem solver: We have an ambitious growth target, and sometimes, it requires quick pivot and fast turnaround. You are able to solve emerging problems, multitask effectively and execute with speed and quality.
- Self-starter who is comfortable with change: Growth from 0 to 1 isn’t easy, and there isn’t an existing plan for you to follow. You are able to manage and deliver end-to-end projects with autonomy, and be comfortable with short-term priority shifts.
- Continuous improvement mindset: The new business is at an early stage and most processes are not built or set in stone. You are able to find ways to get things done better and faster, and scale.
- Team player: You are able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to get things done.
