Position Details:

Job Title: Senior Analyst - Actuarial Pricing Function/Department: Actuarial Location: Bangalore, India Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Team Lead Role Overview - Pricing for APAC Team

Key Responsibilities:

Work with the APAC pricing team on key pricing responsibilities, such as PMR, Portfolio reviews and large account pricing. Support various pricing initiatives including but not limited to Reinsurance analysis, Planning, Rebridge, etc. Utilize actuarial techniques and data analytics for analysis of experience. Prepare detailed pricing and portfolio analysis reports for pricing actuaries, underwriters, and stakeholders, clearly communicating assumptions, methodologies, and results. Contribute to continuous development initiatives, refining pricing processes and improving efficiency.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 3 to 5 years relevant actuarial work experience in Property & Casualty insurance; experience in pricing or portfolio review is an advantage. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SQL) and actuarial tools. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
