What You'll Do

Center for Consumer Insight (CCI) in Singapore develops strong know-how on the global market and consumers via various proprietary researches, and we combine proprietary and existing tools to tailor programs. Besides, the team has strong capabilities and experience to manage and conduct case-specific researches. As a Senior Analyst within Vantage Team in Singapore, you will work in a growing global team, providing consumer research expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. You will provide analytical services (e.g. qualitative and quantitative data analysis, comfortable with SPSS and data analytics techniques such as Segmentation, Conjoint analysis, MaxDiff, social listening, etc.)You will also help design and execute qualitative research studies – discussion guide preparation, moderation of in-depth interviews and focus group discussion, field work management, agency management, etc.Additionally, you will support the team in developing existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets. You will work on commercialization efforts for the topic/sector, in conjunction with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences and publications. As a Senior Analyst, you will assist with on-boarding, training and guiding junior colleagues and share best practices within the team. You will also own daily basis support workflow, activities, and output of the CCI team, supporting case teams on ad hoc requests and deliver on need ensuring highest quality responses

What You'll Bring

2+ years of consulting experience in relevant sector/topic required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferredIn lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum in consumer research firms, or experience with other companies / firms focused on consumer insights required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferredBachelor/Master degree from a reputed university with demonstrated academic achievementsExpertise in primary market research for both quantitative and qualitative methodologies from end-to-end (i.e. design to execution and analysis), in both B2B and B2C environmentsDeep experience in questionnaire and interview guide developmentExpertise in statistical techniques - Quantitative data modelling, Conjoint, Social listening, Regression, MaxDiff, Segmentation, TURF analysis, Clustering models and Customer segmentation analysis amongst other prominent quantitative techniquesExposure to different qualitative research techniques: focus group (offline and virtual), in-depth/expert interviews, ethnography etc. is an added advantageAdept at analyzing and interpreting data to identify patterns and solutions, including from surveys and focus group transcriptsProficiency with MS-Office Suite, SPSS, Pivot tables and exposure to any other data analysis and visualisation tools such as Tableau and AlteryxHands-on experience of market research-specific programming and visualization tools is an added advantageGood understanding of working with online panelsOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environmentProficiency in Indonesian Bahasa (written & spoken) is a plus

The Vantage Team is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. Vantage members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

 

BCG's Vantage Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
