Job Description

Our exciting Senior Account Manager opportunity is a hybrid hunter role responsible for selling Experian's leading data management solutions into a mixture of established key accounts, and 'net new' customers withing specific industry verticals. This role joins a team of established high performers who've consistently overachieved sales targets in previous financial years. This opportunity will see a new starter join our team at an exciting time as we bring new capabilities to the A/NZ market from the success we have seen from Experian Data Quality globally.

 

This is a fast paced end-to-end sales role, from the point of cold prospecting to closing opportunities. The expectations of a successful applicant are as follows:

 

An activity focused salesperson where 25 customer-facing meetings a month will be completed consistently (meetings will be a combination of new business meetings and meetings to progress opportunities)A demonstrated ability to find and close a software sales processExperience navigating opportunities involving multiple stakeholders, across business and IT functionsSomeone who is genuinely curious aboutSomeone who wants to join and contribute to our excellent workplace culture.

 

This role will focus on Experian's Data Quality solutions including Data Validation, Data Management and Data Governance Technologies.

 

What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian

 

You will be responsible for delivering an agreed revenue target by working closely with our clients and prospects to understand their requirements and identify ways in which we can help them achieve their commercial objectives by better understanding, interacting with and targeting their customers.You will need to be curious in your questioning to understand challenges, requirements and opportunities. We're looking for a dynamic individual who possess an innately curious mind, strong sales methodology and a desire to grow.

Work that matters - What you'll be doing

 

Predominately be focused on the acquisition of new business opportunities within existing customer accounts and prospects. Manage and close business within these customer accountsProspect for new contacts in existing customer accountsAttend SPIN and STRONGMAN sales training to enhance current sales skills as well as internal sales training workshopsBecome a subject matter expert for your clientsManage own performance and take responsibility for self-development in line with personal and company objectivesChampion Experian values

Qualifications

More about you

 

You'll be a confident new business salesperson, confident booking and running meetings, with or without support from management or presalesThis role would suit someone with 6+ years' experience and with some exposure to enterprise software sales.
