SEARCH & SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
ABOUT YOU:
At Jostens, our Marketing team drives engagement through innovative digital strategies. We connect with customers via multiple channels—including Jostens.com, social media, email, and print—to deliver relevant and timely marketing campaigns. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, as we work closely with internal partners to ensure our messaging meets the evolving needs of our audience. We’re currently looking for a digital marketing professional to lead both organic and paid search efforts and collaborate with our social media teams (paid and organic). This role also involves conducting market and consumer research to guide platform and content decisions, and producing detailed reports and insights to share with internal stakeholders.
YOU WILL:
+ Paid & Organic Search:
+ Provide keyword research, recommendations, and expansion ideas to support both organic and paid strategies.
+ Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar.
+ Help implement on-page optimizations (title tags, meta descriptions, URL structure, etc.) to improve rankings and organic traffic.
+ Optimize ad copy, bid strategies, and landing page experience to improve quality scores and performance.
+ Partner with agency/agencies to execute search strategies and analyze performance.
+ Paid Social:
+ Collaborate with internal team members to create innovative and integrated paid social media campaigns that align with brand and marketing goals.
+ Execute paid social media tactics across, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and other platforms, ensuring campaigns are tailored to platform best practices.
+ Organic Social:
+ Plan, create, and publish engaging content across platforms.
+ Monitor performance and engagement, identify trends and provide actionable insights for optimization.
+ Reporting:
+ Compile and analyze paid and organic search and social channel performance.
+ Create reports that provide insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
+ Research emerging platforms and trends to identify new opportunities for innovation.
+ Typical/expected % of overnight travel:
+ Less than 2% per year.
YOU HAVE:
+ Experience. 2-3 years experience in organic search, including experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Google Search Console. 1-2 years experience in paid search, with proficiency in Google Ads.
+ Education. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Technical Skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Preferred basic understanding of Google Analytics or other web analytics tools. Preferred 1-2 years of experience in paid and organic social media with experience in key Social Media Platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Tiktok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
+ Agility. Proven success in creating multi-channel campaigns. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects with tight deadlines. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
+ Attention to Detail.
+ Great Communication Skills. Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. The ability to communicate creatively and in an engaging manner. Proactive attitude with a commitment to providing premium customer service. Ability to work individually and with cross-functional teams to develop consensus within diverse groups. Motivated, results-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences.

Our Marketing team leverages digital marketing strategies and tactics focused on schools, independent sales reps, parents, and students to deliver the right message, to the right customer, at the right time. Team members will understand and leverage customer insights through data analysis & testing to then create experiences and relevant content throughout the customer journey and to support our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products, and Professional Sports. Through executing across a variety of consumer touchpoints on jostens.com, social, e-mail and print materials, the team collaborates with internal partners to create relevant and timely marketing campaigns to meet the needs of our customers.
