Job DescriptionThe Scientific Support Specialist – Virology plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our virology quality control processes. This position demands a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
Job Duties Include:
Execute rigorous technical oversight of Virology quality control assays, ensuring adherence to strict protocols and standards.Maintain laboratory integrity through meticulous performance of essential duties, including cleaning, inventory management, and cold room organization (5S methodology).Produce high-quality technical documentation to support laboratory operations and regulatory requirements.Conduct thorough investigations of laboratory deviations and errors:Employ advanced analytical skills to determine root causesImplement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)Perform comprehensive data auditsAuthor detailed reports as requiredEnsure all investigations adhere to compliance-driven timelinesDesign and execute Qualification and Validation studies to maintain the highest standards of laboratory performance.Provide critical analytical change management support for Virology testing laboratories, facilitating seamless transitions and continuous improvement.Uphold unwavering compliance with cGMPs, GLPs, regulations, and company policies/procedures in all laboratory activities.QualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications:
BS in a scientific field with 1+ years of experience or MS with graduate research/6 months+ experienceAseptic laboratory technique and troubleshooting experienceTechnical writing skills and experience with LIMS and electronic laboratory notebooksExcellent communication skills and attention to detailAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:
