We are kicking off our 2025 Summer Internship program and looking for students who want to start a career in quality engineering!
If you are someone who values a humble mentality, embraces a learn-by-doing approach, thrives in collaboration with diverse minds, and is ready to let your potential shine? If so, this opportunity is perfect for you!
The Quality Engineer role includes developing products from ideas to products ready for our customers. Quality Engineers always think about risks and ask themselves what could go wrong with proposed changes to the product. They take/suggest preventive measures to mitigate such risks. A critical point of view is a crucial part of this role, as you will perform testing and be able to talk about issues clearly and diplomatically.
Mentors will guide you through the internship program, and after it ends, you can land your first job at Infobip.
At our two-month paid Quality Engineering internship program, you will:
Test ideas before starting implementation (point out unclarities in requirements, test the design prototype)
Understand the impact a new requirement (or any change) can have on the current system (matrix of services and dependencies, identifying critical paths)
Define quality criteria for the area and identify risks threatening them
Test implementation and report on the platform/tools (Infobip’s cloud applications and API) and testing state
Prioritize and report issues with clear “steps to reproduce“ and expected behavior
Discuss improvements of the platform/tools with a clear business/user value proposition
Have a basic knowledge and a genuine interest in test automation
Be able to propose and implement test automation strategies
Understand where test automation fits in a development process
Closely collaborate with different roles such as Product Manager, Product Designer, UX Researcher, Software Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, etc.
Gain guidance with continuous, personalized feedback from your dedicated mentor, empowering your personal growth and accelerating your development
You will fit in if:
You are currently studying Software Engineering (eg. computer science, mathematics) or IT, Business Economics,...
You are available to start the internship on July to September (full-time)
You can work full-time after completing the internship
You will stand out if you:
You are familiar with software testing role and have an interest in this field
You are familiar with concepts of test strategy and risk-based testing approach
You are a self-driven critical thinker, responsible in your job and willing to learn
You have an eye for detail, easily spotting inconsistencies and issues
