The role is responsible for meeting sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service. This includes securing and renewing orders, negotiating pricing, closing sales deals, and ensuring timely product deliveries. The primary focus of this position is to achieve sales goals while placing a high priority on customer happiness and maintaining strong sales and service skills. By optimally managing the sales process and encouraging positive customer relationships, the successful candidate will contribute to the overall growth and success of the company. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Responsible for Install based FLOW products booking goals in Malaysia. + Flow Measurement Product sales covering Oil and Gas, Refineries, Oleo-chemical, Chemical, Power plants, Gas Distribution and Metering industries. + Covers Engineering Companies, Consultants and End-Users. + Attending to customer enquiries, generating new enquiries, providing technical solutions, marketing activities and developing sales strategy. + Identify new potential customer base and competitive displacement plan. + Leveraging the support of Flow Solutions Group, teamwork among Emerson Automation Solution Business Units and Asia Pacific Team to develop and achieve overall objectives with respect to the sales budget and targeted account. + Develop & manage reports on sales pursuit plan, status, forecasting and analysis. + Able to respond and convey to clients’ technical requirements to sales leaders and marketing team. **Who You Are:** + Possesses good techno-commercial skills. + Knowledgeable in field instrumentation, flow measurement and metering; good understanding of business practice and process application will be advantageous. + Independent, focused, and strong analytical skills. + Must be able to establish and maintain positive relationships throughout the sales cycle. + Other than primary responsibilities as Sales Manager, this position is also encouraged to perform other task to meet the overall team Objective. + Good interpersonal skills, comfortable in interacting in formal, informal and site environment. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Excellent communication and leadership skills. + Demonstrates a proactive demeanor and outstanding perseverance. + Comfortable with change and able to succeed in uncertainty + Willing to travel extensively within Malaysia. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Minimum 3 to 5 years shown experience in Instrumentation or Flow Measurement sales. + Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical & Electronic or Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering or other relevant technical field. **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
