Job Title: Sales Engineer
Division: Weir Minerals

Purpose of Role: This role is responsible for handling inquiries for slurry pumps and mineral processing products, conduct sales and marketing activities, after market support, manage customer relationships, and contribute to business growth within the region, focusing on achieving company KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing: Execute sales and marketing activities for Weir Minerals (WMI) products in the

region.

Enquiry Handling: Process and manage inquiries related to slurry pumps and other mineral

processing products. 

Business Generation: Be responsible for generating business from the region, aligning with agreed

objectives and company KPIs. 

Techno- -Commercial Discussions: Handle technical and commercial discussions with customers

and secure orders. 

Sales Promotion: Conduct sales promotional activities, including presentations and regular

customer visits. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the region.   

Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.



Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

1-2 Years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing/mining sector

Experience in sales or marketing, and exposure to industrial products sales with strong

communication, presentation, selling and negotiation skills and self motivated.

Knowledge of general contract processes, procedure and system.

Valid Driver's license
