The PositionChapter Lead - Healthcare Compliance Coordination
The Opportunity
As a Chapter Lead and part of the RSS External Collaborations Enabling Team (ECE) Leadership Team, you will supervise a team of Compliance process specialists in the area of collaborations with Healthcare Professionals (HCP), Healthcare organizations (HCO) and external Patient Communities, providing operational support to several Global R&D and commercial Networks such as Product Development (PD), Product Development & Medical Affairs (PDMA), Global Product Strategy (GPS), Pharma International (PI) in Healthcare Professionals engagements. You will hold the accountability of your chapters continuous improvement and the team's performance, delivery and results.
In this role, you will also constantly drive the end-to-end Compliance Process (Oversight, Improvement, Monitoring and Execution) to ensure that HCP, HCO and patient related collaborations as well as Grants, Sponsorship and Donations (GSDs) requests are coordinated effectively and efficiently with stakeholders. In this role, you will build and maintain a trusted relationship with Partners. In doing so, the incumbent will develop a robust event plan, ensuring delivery of ethical, high quality and cost effective recommendations/solutions are in alignment with the engagement objectives. As a true leader, you will also act as a Coach to your team of experts, cultivating an environment where ideas are welcomed and promoting a culture of providing continuous improvement feedback as part of the team's DNA.
Strategic Leadership
Leads the long-term Chapter strategy in line with the overall Departments and company strategy, managing overall process service quality, governance, and business satisfaction.
Advances the capabilities of your Chapter, supporting the transformation and scale-up of services.
Ensures Chapter activities increase business impact, and your team is staffed and equipped adequately while empowering them to deliver personal and organizational goals as a self-aligning team.
Team Development and Management
Ensures that team members are performing to the standards of the Chapter on their assignment, providing interventions and support in operational work as required.
Leads the performance management cycle for Chapter members, seeking, evaluating, and acting on feedback in alignment with HR People Practices.
Coaches and mentors Chapter members to support and develop their development goals.
Continuous Improvement and Learning
Models and encourages a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Identifies and anticipates future resource needs and skills development for the Chapter.
Quality & Compliance
Serves actively as the internal Compliance Advisor to the Chapter, accountable for healthcare compliance knowledge and training for the team.
Who You Are
Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred; Healthcare Compliance Certification (CHC) or equivalent certification is a plus.
5+ years of experience working in compliance and with compliance (PCO/US HCO), legal, procurement, and contracts organizations; 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceuticals industry.
4+ years of experience in people leadership and business/organizational development and healthcare compliance.
Strong in organizational and process excellence to drive change, transform complex processes, and enable process improvement methodologies (Lean & Six Sigma, Continuous Process Improvement, etc.).
Outstanding interpersonal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trust and productive relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.
Ability to lead teams, empowering and coaching team members to achieve personal and organizational goals; exhibit VACC and servant leadership behavior.
Ability to work independently, align different stakeholders effectively, and a strong sense of prioritization with demonstrated flexibility to organize expertise around business requirements.
Ability to travel internationally as required
