Title: Repair Team Lead - Storage Devices

Location: Alpharetta, GA

As a Depot Repair Team Lead you will work in a cross-functional environment with Operations, Design/Quality/Test Engineering, and New Product Introduction to enable high-quality, cost efficient repair and refurbishment of depot serviced equipment. The desired candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring their team produces a high quality output while meeting production demand each day. They will act as the primary point of contact for all repair technician escalations and work to remove roadblocks during the repair process. They will foster a team first environment and help champion employee growth and development. They will seek out and execute continuous improvement related activities.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Mobilize the repair team to meet the daily production scheduleEnsure team is repairing to acceptable industry standardsSeek opportunities to improve operating metrics specifically related to quality, service level agreement, and costManage and drive continuous improvement related activities including 5S and Lean initiativesProvide a hands-on leadership presence with a strong emphasis on team building and employee growth and developmentEnsure team needs are quickly and efficiently escalated to leadershipTrain and develop repair technicians as required to improve operating metricsOther job related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

2 – 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a group, team or project leaderExperience with project management (PMP/CAPM Certification a plus)Experience with Lean, 5S, Six Sigma (Yellow/Green/Black Belt Certification a plus)
