Release Engineer
The primary responsibility will initially focus on hardware tech refresh (replacement) efforts, while seeking cost savings via consolidation, virtualization, and reduction where possible across the Online Legal estate (Westlaw Next, Legal Cobalt Shared Platform based products & product views, CLEAR, Doc & Form Builder, Drafting Assistant, OnePass, Online Charges, etc.)

About The Role

Experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools. Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system. Conduct Release Readiness reviews and Business Go/No-Go reviews. Have a software-centric mindset.Drive progress on complex and/or multiple projects relative to scope, schedules, budgets and quality.Facilitating solutions to complex problems, negotiating and resolving conflicting/changing priorities and managing complex process improvements.

About YouAround 3-5 years of Release Management/Project management/ serive management experience in IT. Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines.Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies. Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle. Willingness to work in 24x7x365 shifts on rotation basis or fixed US/UK shifts. (For beginning 1-2 years it will be US shift hours)For starting 1-2 years it will be US shift hours. Willingness to work in 24x7x365 shifts on rotation basis or fixed US/UK shiftsKnowledge of traditional agile methodologies, Scrum, Waterfall, or KanbanExperience in the use of Application Release Automation tools.
