Regional Sales Manager, BNL, DACH, Central East Europe (ACT)
The Outside Sales Manager will directly manage all Actuation Technologies business in the BNL, DACH & Central and Southeast Europe regions and engage with all appropriate customers to plan, develop, and control the implementation of Sales Initiatives to achieve orders volume and profitability targets. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: - Responsible for the achievement of Sales, Bookings and Gross Profit targets for the full Actuation Technologies portfolio in the agreed sales territory. - Identify & understand the specific market requirements within the territory. - Develop & execute strategies to improve revenue & gross margins. - Actively manage the business with existing customers and seek new opportunities to promote products, services and solutions of Actuation Technologies. - The customer-base will include OEMs, Distributors, Intercompany (Emerson Final Controls) Sales Offices, and End-Users. - Report regularly to the Senior Regional Sales Manager market trends, evidence of competition strategies, and customer behavior which may affect the Actuation Technologies' business strategies. - Develop a Distribution strategy for the territory in order to best serve the end-user market, and to maximize revenue & profitability for Actuation Technologies. - Proactively manage the distribution sales channel by means of joint sales calls, shared opportunity funnels, sales planning and follow-up, marketing initiatives, and the management of pricing & enabling factors. - Monetize Installed base by generating demand for KOB3/LCS by engaging with end users, either directly or via channels, making site walk downs and displacing competition. - Report business Distribution status, updates and plans to the European Sales Director. - Maintain and regularly update business expectations within Actuator Technologies' forecasting processes. - Participate in customer development activities such as trade shows, fairs & conferences striving to promote the sale of products, solutions and services of the business unit - Promote the product range, and provide local sales support, to Gas Pipeline customers. - Continuously drive the improvement of customer happiness by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to meet their needs. - Cooperate closely with operations, order management, project execution and service teams to ensure the appropriate delivery of commitments to customers, and work to maximize customer happiness. - Observe the "Business Ethics" stipulated by Actuation Technologies. - Practice and promote the "Perfect Execution” culture in all aspects of the role. - Ensure that all transactions are property screened and recorded in accordance with the company's Trade Compliance procedures and escalate any concerns or questions to the business unit Gatekeeper Additional Responsibilities: Be familiar with actuation business and develop appropriate strategies and recommendations to improve Actuation Technologies' competitive position. You quickly and decisively take actions in fact-changing, unpredictable situations. FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: - Engineering degree - Experience in a Sales / Sales Management role which can Inside Sales/Quotations - Experience within the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Chemical Industries - Experience working with flow control applications - Good knowledge of MS Office Package - Strong personality with the ability to connect with all levels within and outside of the organization. - Good presentation skills Proficient in English.
