Reference Data Operations - Pricing Data Associate

As a Pricing Data Associate within the Global Valuation Services team, you will oversee daily third-party price capture and validation, analyze price movements, and liaise with pricing vendors to resolve issues. You will ensure a robust control framework and effective global operating model are used to service the Asia Pacific businesses. Your role is crucial in maintaining data quality and supporting the success of our operations. Job responsibilities:

Provide daily third-party price capture and validation of asset prices versus multiple market sourcesAnalyze price movements against market news and expectation and liaise with pricing vendor to resolve issues and minimize riskMonitor systems for related job success and resolve issues by working with technology teamsPrepare and send daily pricing and market impact summaries with supporting market newsProduce and analyze valuation movements within client portfolios on a daily and monthly basisComplete all daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required accurately and to deadlineResolve client (Global Index Research Group) queries promptly and professionallyParticipate and present in client monthly meetingsEscalate all issues promptly and effectively to supervisorContribute to ongoing developments of the pricing control processParticipate in ad-hoc project work as directed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

At least Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Science, Technology, or related disciplinesAt least 8 years of experience in Banking Operations within Financial Services industryPrevious experience in managing teamsUnderstanding and interest in stocks, bonds, options, and financial marketsKnowledge of industry activities, including corporate actions and stock markets, and pricing vendors, such as Bloomberg, London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookupsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and proactive with the ability to work under pressureEffective communication within a team environmentAbility to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAs the team covers the Asia Pacific region, staggered shift work and working on public holidays is required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Knowledge in digital tools like Alteryx, JIRA, and/or Confluence would be beneficial.
