As a Quant Analytics Senior Associate on the Payments Analytics Team, you’ll leverage data to formulate quantifiable goals, influence business decisions, develop strategies and experimentation in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. You will play a key role in developing KPIs, create dashboards and develop analyses including segmentations, trends, optimizations and other techniques to improve business function performance.   

Job Responsibilities:

Synthesize data from a number of different sources to identify meaningful trends and patterns that will help mortgage operations improve the overall customer experienceWork closely with business partners to help identify opportunities to improve operations and employee efficiencyUse advanced data discovery and data mining tools to reveal relationships and trends in the data providing new insights into behaviorsConvert data to actionable insights and leverage data visualization tools to effectively tell a storyExtract data from various sources using SQL, Python, etc. Work directly with business partners across multiple channels to evaluate needs, develop end-to-end solutions, and implement those solutions within budget, control requirements, and SLAs 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or related field3 years of experience in an advanced analytics roleStrong Python and SQL knowledge, including complex queries, stored procedures, etc.Experience with relational databases and query optimization to pull and summarize large datasets with focus on efficiency and reducing server impactsCapable of defining metrics, evaluating results, drawing conclusions and insights to design and recommend system or process improvementsCritical and analytical thinking with a data-oriented mindsetAbility to develop advanced data visualization and presentationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Advanced analytics experience, with preferred knowledge in one or more of these tools: SSRS, Power BI, AlteryxFunctional industry experience in product, marketing, credit/risk or finance
