Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and skilled teams with the aim to meet and surpass customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in implementing the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your knowledge by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for unmatched performance. The work model for the role is: #LI - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification business area in India.Main stakeholders are engineering, production, quality assurance, and customer service teams. You will be mainly accountable for: •\tConducting test protocols to ensure that products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations, including Factory Acceptance Testing (F.A.T.) and internal quality checks. •\tSupporting test method setup, equipment performance validation, and material/component selection aligned with test targets. •\tAssisting in quality-related activities across supplier quality, production, testing/validation, and engineering within the local organization. •\tProviding quality-related training and promoting a culture of quality and integrity in all activities.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou are highly skilled in quality control tools, test methodology, and continuous improvement techniques, with an extensive focus on electrical and power systems.\tYou have 3+ years of experience in quality and testing roles, working with UPS systems and high-power 3-phase applications.\tHighly adept in AutoCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, PCBA programming, and able to interpret electrical schematics.\tYou are focused on precision, methodical work ethic, and a structured approach to problem-solving.\tBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related technical field.\tYou are communicating in English, both written and verbal.
