Your role and responsibilitiesIn this position you will assist the local ABB unit in developing the necessary capabilities to control products and systems to meet the internal, customer and industry requirements, in a cost effective and safe working environment. Participate in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only conform products, software and services are released to the customer. Investigating customer complains during installation & commissioning (ensuring fast feedback) to ensure customer satisfaction.You will be mainly accountable for:• Conducting test protocols as assigned to ensure the products, systems or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in factory test labs or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine, F.A.T. and S.A.T. as applicable.• Preparing material lists needed for site activity and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for site activities.• Ensuring that customer feedback is gathered, analyzed and actions to improve are implemented.• Guiding the local improvement actions toward greater customer satisfaction using the appropriate problem-solving methodologies, involving all stake holders like production, supplier quality, engineering & R&D • Escalating to quality control organization any case of product quality or safety nonconformance.• Availability for technical support both on and off site
Qualifications for the roleBachelor of Electrical Power Engineering2 to 3 Years of experience on similar positionSound knowledge of Power flow analysis and protection schemes for MV networksSound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Minitab are an assetYou are at ease communicating in English and ArabicPreferred experience in Power fields (MV Products)Experience in Testing ABB protection relays and softwareProven track record in installing, Testing and commissioning MV productsHigh customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personalityAbility to determine quality metrics for all manufacturing proceduresAbility to interact with different stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills and excellent communicationHigh customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personality and coaching skillsHands-on and problem-solving mentality to challenge “status quo”Ability to time manage complex, several, and diverse tasks
