Your role and responsibilitiesABB Marine and Ports is a global leader in sustainable shipping solutions. Join us in shaping the future of marine and port operations.We are seeking a dedicated and experienced manager for our Quality and Health, Safety & Environment department to help us deliver high quality and keeping our people safe and our customers satisfied.In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading and developing our Quality and HSE department. The role is part of the Local Division Management team, and reports to the Local Division Manager. You’ll build strong systems, foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety, and ensure we meet both internal and external standards.Key Responsibilities:• Quality Leadership: Lead the local quality strategy, drive improvements through data and feedback, ensure effective audits and compliance, and collaborate to enhance customer satis-faction.• HSE Management: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, uphold HSE standards, promote a strong safety culture, and drive behavior-based safety initiatives.• Team & Collaboration: Lead and develop a small team, align goals with other departments, coach and motivate your team, and represent the voice of the customer.• Compliance & Improvement: Ensure adherence to policies and standards, conduct reviews and audits, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement programs.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor/master’s degree in engineering, quality, HSE, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing or marine industry.Experience with ISO standards and QHSE systems.Proven ability to develop and implement effective Quality & HSE policies.Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop others.
