Ecospace Limited, a subsidiary of Veolia Hong Kong & Macau, operates Hong Kong’s only Chemical Waste Treatment Facility, managing hazardous and medical waste since 1993. The facility ensures safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible waste management.

Job DescriptionAssists QEHS manager & BL Environmental Manager in all aspects and activities related to Environmental Monitoring & Compliance of the FacilityImplements & maintains integrated management system (incl. ISO9001/14001/45001/31000) Conducts and coordinate internal and external monitoring inspection and audit programsCollects, processes and review all environmental monitoring data, including quality of the data and prepare all required reports and documentationConducts environmental compliance and awareness promotional activitiesImplement training programmes for quality &  environmental compliance & procedures for employees and contractors

QualificationsDegree or above in Environmental Studies/Environmental Engineering or equivalent;At least 5 years experience in Environmental management in an Operating facility ;Familiar with Environmental Legal requirements in Hong Kong, including EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) process and Specified Process Licence under APCO (Air Pollution Control Ordinance)Fluent in Chinese and English (Spoken and written)Proficient in Putonghua speaking

Requirements:

Familiar with ISO standards is an advantageMembership of Environmental Institution, e.g. Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP), Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), Royal Society of Chemistry, or classification as a Chartered Environmentalist, or a member of any other institution of equivalent professional standing; Excellent communicator who can clearly and effectively communicate with clients and other stakeholdersAgile, self motivated and a good team player
