The Public Finance Digital Platform Analyst will collaborate with municipal trading, quantitative research, technology, sales, and syndicate teams to deliver data-oriented solutions department-wide, focusing on e-trading and algo trading, and streamline workflows through managing the design, development, implementation, and enhancements of existing and new systems.
Job responsibilities:
Work with the digital platform team and across the department to set and deliver our strategy for data analytics, trading platform enhancements, and automation of workflows. Define, provide specifications for, and prioritize the book of work with technology to deliver projects on time and with successful product releases. Communicate across the department on product releases and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Ownership of data quality and testing of new and enhanced systems. Design and deliver impactful analysis, reports, and dashboards using Tableau and Python. Manage, enhance, and grow e-trading connections with clients.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Knowledge of fixed income products and analysis is required; experience in municipal bonds is helpful. Strong communicator with the ability to speak to technical detail as well as with a wide range of stakeholders across the business. Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to multi-task. Ability to drive a project to completion with the flexibility to adjust to ensure impactful solutions. Some combination of experience with Bloomberg, Python, VBA, R, SQL, Excel, and Tableau. Ability to process new information quickly and effectively.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Experience in municipal bonds is helpful. Ability to effectively maximize delivery of business goals and returns on investment.
