Proposal Installation Engineer - Submarine

 Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:   We are looking for a Proposal Installation Engineer to join Installation Department in Milan HQ.

You will enjoy: the following activities:Examine Tender Documentation: Review technical specifications and survey data provided by the customer.Develop Technical Solution: Create a solution that meets the specified requirements.Internal Discussions: Collaborate with Installation Engineering and other departments.Clarification Meetings: Participate in meetings with internal teams and the customer.Site Visits: Conduct site visits to understand logistics, feasibility, and potential subcontractors.Prepare RFQs: Issue technical specifications for potential subcontractors.Subcontractor Discussions: Clarify and align subcontractor offers with Prysmian/Customer requirements.Finalize Solution: Fine-tune the solution with relevant departments.Cost and Risk Assessment: Calculate installation costs and assess associated risks.Prepare Technical Documentation: Create the Technical Description of the Work and other required documents.Plan of Work: Assemble and prepare the installation Plan of Work.Negotiations: Participate in negotiations and clarification meetings with the customer.Internal Kick-Off Meetings: Participate in initial project meetings.Customer/Subcontractor Meetings: Attend meetings with the customer and/or subcontractors.Detailed Engineering Involvement: Engage deeply in detailed engineering aspects for construction.Assessment of Changes: Evaluate potential changes since the tender stage, including technical solutions, contractual issues, risks, and costs.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

You are the right fit if you have/are: Fluent in English and Italian.Degree in EngineeringEntry level or up to 1/2 years experience in similar roleGood communication skills and relationship approach with Clients Analytical and problem-solving skills, target orientation, with attitude to manage properly priorities in coordination with Management.Knowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and in the use of the Web.Availability to short but possibly frequent trips, domestic and abroad
